Malossi New Technology Variator. After
years of success with the Multivar MHR, we introduce a new variator for
the Yamaha TMAX. Designed and developed for SPORT use
and not racing. With this new technology we are targeting all those
TMAX owners who want more road performance. This variator has the high
surface finish bushings luricated with MHR grease and new one piece
rollers made of an innovative material guaranteeing higher performance.
Malossi engineers have done incredable design work on the roller ramp
curves to provide optimum "standing start" and "roll on" acceloration as
Sport Touring TMAX street rider wants. These variators are supplied
with 2 sets of rollers and spacers permitting the modification of the
shifting curve to suit the consumer's needs and results in a service
life equal to and in most cases exceeding the original equipment.

MAXI WILD LION EXHAUST SYSTEM Beautiful! Technologically perfect: with their strong character and such an aggressive shape, they give a touch of "High-Class" to the maxi scooter enhancing it in a superlative way. Thanks to the great development of Malossi Engineering s technical staff (utilizing the most up-to-dated labs) and to the extensive racing experience, Malossi wanted to make a significant difference by incorporating the following design requirements to the new MAXI WILD LION exhaust system: innovative look, performance, lightness, reliability and QUALITY.
TECHNICAL FEATURES
- Aluminum alloy casing with anodized titanium finish, elliptical cross section. - Stainless steel end caps with laser logo markings. - A "chicane" silencer system with the addition of sound absorbing mineral fibers, possessing high noise damping and non-degrading qualities. - Stainless steel exhaust tubes from the cylinder to the silencer. The final assembly utilizes stainless steel riveted clamps producing a sealing area of exceptional mechanical strength in turn eliminating any exhaust gas leakage. The new Maxi Wild Lion Exhaust Systems come complete with all the necessary mounting hardware and gaskets.

Thus, the Over Range is renewed as well: new variator and new belt!
This new system is based on Multivar MHR Next, which – matched with the other parts - allows to achieve really unique performances!
The torque driver (movable pulley) has a larger diameter compared to the original one and the very latest specifications, allowing to have a greater velocity-ratio range compared to the original pulley.
Malossi engineers have also taken particular care in realising this pulley right down to the smallest detail, using special materials and a particular type of thermochemical treatment that ensures exceptional surface hardness and therefore excellent wear and abrasion resistance.
In order to fully exploit the range of the new torque driver unit and the power ratings currently offered by competition machines, the new notched X Kevlar Belt MHR has been introduced to ensure maximum performance under all running conditions.
The fixed half-pulley completes the OVER RANGE: this component features a diamond finish of the belt-side pulley surface and a redesigned working angle to further increase the gearing range.
The whole completion of OVER RANGE system is given by the torsion controller.
